James is an extremely patient guitar teacher. He uses a variety of different media enhance the learning process. For instance, he puts song chords and scale diagrams in his DropBox for his students to use. He even puts them up on the computer or TV screen during the lesson for students to look at. Lastly, he is the go-to guy when you have questions about picking out a guitar or musical equipment because he is very knowledgeable about the subjects. He helped me pick out my electric guitar and amplifier.

I want to tell you and all local guitar students that since I have been taking guitar lessons from you, my technique, repertoire and enjoyment  has gone through the roof. My son, Dustin has been taking lessons from James since 2007. Now at 14, he’s quite an accomplished guitarist, and is playing in a band at his school. I absolutely LOVE it when he plays riffs from songs that I grew up with. I highly recommend James to anyone with an interest in learning guitar.
